Chrome Web Store rejection emails carry a two-word violation ID like
Purple Potassium or Blue Argon. Paste the email below and this finds the IDs,
the policy each one maps to, and the reasons Google publishes for it.
The matching runs in your browser with JavaScript. What you paste is not sent to us,
not saved to storage, and disappears when you close or clear the box. Opening the page itself leaves a
normal server access log, the same as any other website.
If you use the form on the main guide instead, that one does send what you write to us,
so it is a different thing.
It tells you which rule the reviewer applied. It does not tell you which part of your extension
triggered it. If you want a second pair of eyes, paste the email and your manifest.json
on the main guide. We read it and tell you which policy we think is being cited and what we would change.
Free, and it is our reading rather than a ruling from Google.
